The Power of Awareness

The realms of ancient mysticism unveil profound insights as sages delved into cosmic mysteries through contemplation and meditation. Their observations, intricately documented in ancient texts, emanated from a profound understanding of nature and the cosmos. Despite the absence of modern tools, their perspectives and keen awareness often unveiled fundamental truths, intriguingly aligning with certain scientific theories.

The convergence of ancient wisdom with contemporary science creates a captivating realm for exploration and discourse. One might ponder how these saints unfolded the mystery of creation and existence solely through meditative processes.

In the intricate dance of the cosmos, imperceptible movements to human senses, often described as the laws of motion, ripple through the vastness. Nothing in the universe is as random as it may appear; instead, everything is organized and synchronized. Within this cosmic ballet, everything resonates with vibrations and frequencies, orchestrating an unseen symphony. When our individual frequencies harmonize with these cosmic vibrations, a profound connection forms, facilitating the transmission of information from the universe. This alignment serves as the conduit through which our aspirations receive cosmic blessings.

The wisdom that arises from deep meditation often comes from a heightened state of awareness and a deep connection to one's inner self. It's believed to be a result of tapping into the unconscious mind, accessing intuitive knowledge, and gaining insights beyond the confines of rational thought. Some spiritual traditions attribute this wisdom to a connection with universal consciousness or divine intelligence.

Attaining a state of complete being becomes essential for unlocking pure awareness through a state of mindlessness. Patanjali's Yog Sutra, encapsulating the core principle of “Yoga Chita Vritti Nirodha” or the cessation of mental fluctuations, serves as a fitting framework within the practice of Ashtanga Yoga to attain this ultimate state of deep meditation.

In this state external influences and thought processes fade away, allowing an uninterrupted reception of transmitted cosmic wisdom. A state of pure awareness can lead to the activation of the Ajna Chakra, often referred to as the third eye. This activation blesses individuals with divine insight, allowing them to perceive realities beyond the scope of ordinary sight. Through this heightened awareness, wisdom flows effortlessly, enabling the recipient to grasp truths inaccessible to the uninitiated.

This phenomenon sheds light on the insight possessed by ancient sages who could perceive the intricate mystery of creation and the essence of our existence. Remarkably, their understanding aligns with scientific principles, hinting at a wisdom that may transcend current scientific boundaries.

These sages, immersed in meditative states and spiritual enlightenment, skillfully integrated cosmic wisdom into their awareness. These revelations in the realms of ancient mysticism now find greater resonance with scientific findings.

Interestingly, where science has yet to reach, the unforeseen mysteries of the cosmic dance are already available in the realm of ancient mysticism. This echoes the timeless connection between the universe and the enlightened mind, bridging the gap between scientific exploration and ancient wisdom.

Piercing the Veil of Reality: Plato, Vedanta, and Quantum Physics

What is reality? If everything is one and made of energy, why does it appear fragmented and separate? Why do we each perceive it differently? For millennia, across cultures and civilizations, sages and philosophers have sensed that the world we perceive through our senses is not the whole truth. Beneath the visible lies the invisible. Behind the transient is the eternal. Beyond form and change, there is an unchanging essence. From the philosophical insights of Plato to the spiritual revelations of Vedantic sages, and now the discoveries of quantum physics, a striking convergence begins to emerge. What appears as reality is only a projection, not the ultimate truth. Plato, the philosopher of ideals, viewed the physical world as a shadow of a higher, perfect realm of Forms. Everything we encounter—trees, animals, human actions—is, in his view, an imperfect reflection of an ideal Form that exists beyond the material plane. There is a Form of Beauty that all beautiful things participate in...

The Interplay of Neuroplasticity, Subconscious Mind, and Sanskara

The intricate complexities of the human brain, akin to hardware, and the mind, akin to software, have long fascinated scientists, philosophers, and spiritual seekers alike. Recent advances in neuroscience have illuminated the remarkable process of neuroplasticity, a phenomenon that allows our brains to rewire and adapt to new experiences and learning throughout life. This concept shares fascinating parallels with the subconscious mind and the ancient spiritual notion of Sanskara (mental imprints), offering profound insights into the nature of human transformation. Neuroplasticity refers to the brain's ability to reorganize and refine neural connections in response to new experiences, learning, and environmental changes. This adaptability enables us to acquire new skills, recover from injuries, and even rewire thought patterns. It challenges the once-held belief that the brain is fixed and unchangeable, highlighting its dynamic and ever-evolving nature. The subconscious mind, a conc...

Krishna as Mentor (Published in Speaking Tree of TOI on June 15 2019)

GANESH KOLAMBAKAR likens Krishna to a good coach or mentor, who provides vital guidelines to living a conflict-free lifeWhile learning business management lessons and also simultaneously trying to understand ancient scriptures, Vedas and the Bhagavad Gita, I came to an interesting conclusion that Krishna was the best mentor, coach and guru. Today, many corporate employees, often, don’t find a good mentor or coach, who can help them in resolving conflicts, which affect their motivational level, thereby limiting them in realizing their true potential. That’s why, we find that stress levels and resultant health ailments are high in the corporate and business fields. While many corporations and business units have several welfare measures to take care of their employees’ health, true success in these endeavours will be achieved only through self-management; by resolving intra conflicts, conflicts within. Inner battle or upheavals within should be addressed, rather than treating visible sym...
